Metrics: revenue, product and website analytics in one place
The Metrics module combines CRM revenue data (MRR, ARR, pipeline) with product and website analytics from PostHog or Google Analytics 4 — across up to eight toggleable tabs, from Overview to live visitors.
- You're signed in and your organization has the "Metrics" module activated.
- For product/website numbers (everything besides pure CRM figures) a PostHog or GA4 account must be connected under Settings — without an integration, those tabs stay empty and show a notice linking to Settings.

Pick a time range and open settings
In the top right, choose the reporting range (7d, 30d, 90d, 6M, 12M) — it applies to every tab at once. The gear icon next to it opens the settings dialog with the analytics integration, tracked events, surface filters and tab visibility.

The eight tabs at a glance
Overview (combined KPI tiles from revenue and product), Revenue (MRR/ARR/ARPU in detail plus the CRM pipeline), App (product-wide usage without a website/webapp split), Website and Webapp (the same metrics filtered to their own URL — only shown once a matching pattern is set), Replays (session recordings), Surveys (survey results), and Live (real-time visitors). Which tabs actually show up is controlled in Settings.
- 3
Set up the analytics integration
Under "Analytics" in the settings dialog, pick a provider (PostHog or Google Analytics 4) and enter the project ID, host (default: eu.posthog.com) and API key. "Learn more" expands a short PostHog walkthrough (an API key prefixed phx_, the project ID from the URL /project/[ID]). An existing key is never shown in plain text — leaving the field blank keeps the current key, only typing a new one overwrites it.
- 4
Maintain tracked events
In "Tracked Events", each row takes the technical event name (e.g. signup_completed) and a display label, plus optional surface tags (App/Website/Webapp) — leaving it untagged counts the event everywhere. "Auto-Detect" (shown once at least one row exists) checks the last 30 days per surface and proposes matching surfaces, but changes nothing until you save afterward.
- 5
Split Website and Webapp by URL pattern
The "Surface filters" section only works with PostHog (locked for GA4, with a "PostHog required" note). Enter a URL pattern for Website and/or Webapp here and PostHog filters pageviews by it automatically; if both patterns are set, a hint warns about possible overlap.
- 6
Choose which tabs are visible
At the bottom of the dialog, toggle each of the eight tabs on or off individually via checkbox. Replays, Surveys and Live carry a "PH" badge and can only be enabled while PostHog is the selected provider — with GA4 they're greyed out and locked.
Without an integration, product tabs stay empty
As long as no analytics integration is configured, App, Website, Webapp, Replays, Surveys and Live show only a notice linking to Settings. Revenue and the revenue portion of Overview work regardless, since they come purely from CRM data.
Replays, Surveys and Live are PostHog-exclusive
With Google Analytics 4 as the provider, these three tabs stay locked in Settings (greyed out, PH badge) and can't be enabled — switching back to PostHog is the only way to make them usable again.
Website/Webapp tabs need a URL pattern to appear
Without a URL pattern set in the matching field, the Website or Webapp tab stays hidden even if it's checked in the tab selector — the two features are tied together.
Auto-Detect only sticks after saving
The Auto-Detect button only updates the surface checkboxes in the form view. Without clicking "Save" afterward, the detected assignment is lost again when the dialog closes.
